My name is Todd Schacherl and I've been an advid hiker my whole life. I lived for ten years in Las Vegas before I realized how much world class hiking and scrambling there is around Las Vegas when I started to explore Red Rock Canyon. I started out exploring the west side and the Pine Creek area specifically.

Eventually I found out about the trails and peaks at Mt. Charleston as well as learning how to scramble. There's a lot of fun besides gambling and most of it is within an hour of the strip.

I've now been to almost every peak around the Las Vegas area. There are a lot of challenging and fun peaks to bag. Some of these hikes you will find here on this site.
